Founder Donwan Harrell created PRPS with an eye toward form, function, and durability, believing in a "product with a purpose." With roots in the American south and a decade of world travel under his belt, Harrell's PRPS denim is a classic, nostalgic vision of American life with a hint of the worldly wayfarer. During his travels the Japanese stood out for the quality of their craftsmanship, so all PRPS denim is woven in small batches on vintage looms by a small community of artisans in Japan from imported cotton from Africa.
